Care

To keep your pliers precise and hygienic, wipe them down after every client with a lint-free cloth to remove hair and product residue. Sanitise with a salon-grade disinfectant or 70% isopropyl alcohol, then dry thoroughly before storing. Don't soak them or leave them wet, because moisture at the hinge can cause stiffness over time. Store them in a dry case or pouch with the tips closed to protect their alignment. Use them only for closing extension beads, since gripping other objects or dropping them can knock the tips out of line and affect bead closure. Every so often, add a drop of light instrument oil to the hinge and wipe away any excess.
